TODAY'S FEATURED ARTIST

If you haven't heard of her, Yelle, is mega-star in France who goes beyond using her imagination by writing songs about things like talking to a teenage transvestite on a fake phone. She is also an inspiration to the bright color, high-top wearing Tectonic dancers with raged out haircuts. According to Yelle, Tectonic is a mix of vogue and jump-style dancing that began in Belgium about 7 years ago, but really started busting out onto the scene within the last few months. You could say it's similar to breakdancing in the US, in that a lifestyle accompanies the dance.

The trend has spread like wildfire throughout Europe, so hop on the band wagon and check out Yelle's music video HERE for some tips, and the Skate Mobb playlist for her hits.
